Problem
PowerNotes needed a new cross-platform app because of the growing movement towards on-the-go mobile device usage. They had an existing browser plugin and a web-based app, but users wanted to research and review notes with their phones.
Users
PowerNotes' users started as law students studying case law but expanded to a more general audience of anyone, particularly college students who needed to do research.
Style Guide
I started this project by creating a style guide, which included type scale, colors, elevations.
Solution
User Testing
I created a prototype in InVision and then used Maze to test user flows. I was able to test this prototype with several colleagues. I gained insights into success rate, bounce rate, time to complete, misclicks, and asked for direct feedback at the end of testing.
